Autodesk, Inc. (
ADSK: chart), a design software and services company, said that fiscal 2008 revenue increased to $2.17 billion from $1.84 billion a year-ago. For the fourth quarter ended revenue increased 20% to $599.1 million from $497.4 million from a year ago.
For the quarter ended Jan. 31, Autodesk earned $96.5 million, or 40 cents per share, compared to $96.4 million, or 40 cents compared to a year ago. For fiscal year 2008, the company earned $356.2 million, or $1.47 per share, compared to $289.7 million, or $1.19 in fiscal year 2007.
Papa John's International Inc. (
PZZA: chart) operator and franchisor of pizza delivery reported fourth quarter revenues increase of 2.2% to $283.9 million for the fourth quarter of 2007. Net income for the fourth quarter of 2007 was $7.7 million, or $0.27 per diluted share, compared with $19.0 million, or $0.59 per diluted share, in the same period 2006.
Consolidated revenues for the year 2007 were $1.06 billion, an increased 6.2% from 2006 revenues of $1.00 billion, in the previous year 2006. Net income for the year 2007 was $32.7 million, or $1.09 per diluted share, compared with $63.4 million, or $1.92 per diluted share in the previous year.
Sempra Energy (
SRE: chart), an energy services holding company, said that its revenue for the year 2007, decreased to $11.44 billion from $11.76 billion in the last year 2006. For the full year 2008, a company earned $1.1 billion, or $4.16 per share, compared to $1.41 billion, or $5.38 per share, in the previous year.
For the fourth quarter ended 2007, revenue decreased 4.2% to $3.11 billion from $3.25 billion in the same period a year-ago. For the fourth quarter, Sempra earned $289 million, or $1.10 per share, compared with $125 million, or 47 cents per share, for the same period in 2006.
Ternium S.A. (
TX: chart), a steel company in the Americas reported net sales in the year 2007 were $8.2 billion during 2007, an increase of 25% when compared with 2006. Net income for the full year 2007 was $1.0 billion, compared with $996 million in the year 2006.
Net sales were $2.3 billion in the fourth quarter 2007, rose 43% and 5% when compared to the fourth quarter 2006 and the third quarter 2007. Net income for the fourth quarter 2007 was $220.6 million, rose 39% compared with the fourth quarter 2006 and an increase of 3% when compared to the third quarter 2007.
