DSW Inc, a footwear specialty retailer reported second quarter sales rose 2.38% to $357.2 million from $348.7 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter rose 67% to $11.0 million or 25 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $6.5 million or 15 cents per share, a year ago.
Comparable same-store sales fell 6.9%.
