Superior Well Services reported fourth quarter revenue increased 26% to $94.9 million and net income fell 28% $7 million. For the year 2007 revenue increased 43% to $350.8 million and earnings increased 19% to $37.8 million. Superior stock in the last 52 weeks has traded between $17 and $28.

 
Superior Well Services, Inc. provides a range of well services to oil and gas companies reported for the fourth quarter of 2007, revenues were $94.9 million, an increase of 26.3% compared to $75.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2006 and an increase of 0.7% compared to $94.3 million reported in the third quarter of 2007.

Net income for the fourth quarter 2007 fell 28% to $7.0 million, or 30 cents a share, from $9.8 million, or 49 cents a share, in the prior year 2006.

For the year ended December 31, 2007, revenues were $350.8 million, an increase of 43% as compared to $244.6 million the prior year.

Net income increased $5.8 million to $37.8 million in 2007 due to increased activity levels described above. Earnings per diluted share remained at $1.63 per share in both 2006 and 2007 due to higher average shares outstanding in 2007.

Superior Well Services (SWSI: chart) added 68 cents to close at $20.00.
