Renewable Energy revenues jumped to 6.64 billion kroner from 4.3 billion kroner in the previous year despite the delays in the construction and completion of a new plant for the manufacture of granulated silicon in Moses Lake, U.S. In the fourth quarter, the company announced the selection of a site in Singapore for a large integrated solar manufacturing complex.

In addition, annual revenues for the segment improved 28% to 1.11 billion kroner as sales prices were down 5%. Cell production for the year gained 25% to 46 MW.

EVER Q

The segment’s contribution to EBITDA was 37 million kroner in the fourth quarter compared to 11 million kroner in the third quarter after production increased to 21 MW from the previous quarter’s 11 MW.

Delay on Polysilicon Expansion Project

Overall capital investment for the Moses Lake in Washington was revised to close to US $800 million as the project is likely to be delayed by two more months after delays in equipment deliveries.

Commercial production at the project is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Outlook

The company forecasts that revenue for the full-year of 2008 is expected to rise 25% compared to 2007; first quarter revenue for 2008 is expected to be similar to the first quarter of 2007.
