Kroger, food retailer reported fiscal 2007 fourth quarter sales increased 2.2% to $17.2 billion and net income fell to $323 million or 48 cents per share. In the year 2007, sales increased 6.2% to $70.2 billion and earnings were $1.18 billion or $1.69 per share. Dicks Sporting Goods net sales in in the fourth quarter rose 18% to $1.21 billion and comparable store sales increased 2.7%. Bon-Ton department store chain sales dropped to $1.14 billion in fourth quarter of fiscal 2007.
