Apogee Enterprises, Inc, engaged in the design of glass products and systems said second quarter sales rose 13% to $245 million from $217.6 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter rose 6% to $12.2 million or 43 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $11.4 million or 39 cents per share, a year ago.
