Constellation Brands, the alcohol beverage distributor reported second quarter revenues rose 6% to $1.24 billion and net loss of $23 million or 11 cents a share. Marriott International third quarter revenues rose 1% to $2.96 billion and net income fell 28% to $94 million or 26 cents a share.

Constellation Brands, Inc, the global distributor of beverage alcohol reported second quarter revenues rose 6% to $1.24 billion from $1.17 billion a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $23 million or 11 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $72 million or 33 cents per share, a year ago.

Constellation Brands, Inc (STZ: chart) in the last one year traded as high as $26.46 in October 2007 and as low as $17.21 in March 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price the company has a market cap of $4.71 billion.

Marriott International, Inc the hotel operator reported third quarter revenues rose 1% to $2.96 billion from $2.94 billion a year ago. Net income in the quarter fell 28% to $94 million or 26 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $131 million or 33 cents per share, a year ago.

Marriott International, Inc (MAR: chart) in the last one year traded as high as $45.10 in October 2007 and as low as $22.12 in July 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price the company has a market cap of $8.82 billion.

MSCI Inc, a provider of investment decision support tools to institutions reported third quarter revenues rose 19.5% to $110.4 million from $92.4 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter fell 11.7% to $18.9 million or 19 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $21.4 million or 25 cents per share, a year ago.

MSCI Inc (MXB: chart) in the last one year traded as high as $39.95 in December 2007 and as low as $19.75 in September 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price the company has a market cap of $2.21 billion.
