Market indexes advanced after deals dominated headlines. HP agreed to acquire Aruba Networks for $2.7 billion and Boston Scientific offered to pay $1.6 billion to buy urology business from Endo International. Tech heavy Nasdaq is set to retest the peak it reached fifteen years ago.

Ambac Financial net surged but revenues declined 60%. Boston Scientific agreed to acquire AMS urology business from Endo Intl for $1.6 billion. Endo Intl net loss narrowed after revenues soared 37%. EV Energy net swung to profit. Sothebys net plummeted 18%.

British Land acquired Surrey Quays Leisure Park in Canada Water for £135 million. Dialight profit and revenues surged. Intertek net plunged 12% to £190 million. Novartis and Glaxo completed a series of asset swaps. RWE completed the sale of its unit for about €5 billion.
