The Sensex Index soared 556.77 or 2.4% to close at 23,551. The CNX Nifty jumped 155.45 to close at 7,014.25.

climbed 5.3% to Rs 183.95 after net profit in the second-quarter surged 46.05 to Rs 55.53 crore and sales climbed 88% to Rs 563.26 crore.
Blue Dart Express Limited
slipped 1.2% to Rs 3,201.50 after net profit in the fourth-quarter plunged 26.6% to Rs 30.65 crore and net sales soared 12.9% to Rs 502.89 crore.
Balrampur Chini Mills Limited
gained 1.2% to Rs 59.65 after net profit in the fourth-quarter jumped 167.54% to Rs 189.90 crore and revenues dropped 6.01% to Rs 699.98 crore.
declined 4.9% to Rs 286.20 after net profit in the fourth-quarter tumbled 88.3% to Rs 41.57 crore and total revenue increased 8.6% to Rs 5,032.62 crore.
At the end of fiscal year in March, ratio of gross non-performing assets to gross advances increased to 3.42% from 1.72% a year ago.
Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd
dropped 2.9% to Rs 40 after net profit in the fourth-quarter plummeted 75.5% to Rs 5.63 crore and net sales jumped 5.6% to Rs 1,441.18 crore.
Gokaldas Exports Ltd
surged 9.9% to Rs 60.90 after the company reported net in the fourth-quarter swung to profit Rs 6.35 crore compared to a loss of Rs 10.98 crore and revenues jumped 17.1% to Rs 322.03 crore.
slid 0.8% to Rs 121.80 after net profit in the fourth-quarter declined 7.13% to Rs 271.28 crore and total revenue climbed 5.3% to Rs 4,234.83 crore.

jumped 2.8% to Rs 642.80 after net profit in the fourth-quarter climbed 120% to Rs 244 crore and revenues jumped 41% to Rs 1,225 crore.
For the year, net profit surged 53% to Rs 664 crore and revenues soared 30% to Rs 4,184 crore.
