In London trading, FTSE 100 index fell 0.5% or 31.27 to 6,846.70 and in Frankfurt the DAX index rose 0.1% or 10.74 to 9,735.
In Paris, CAC 40 index slid 0.3% or 12.89 to 4,482.05.

climbed 3.6% to 756.50 pence after the U.K.-based medical software and technology services provider reported group revenue in the third-quarter ending in June soared 41% to £66.4 million from £47.1 million a year ago period.
Profit in the quarter jumped 5.5% from a year ago to £9.56 million compared to £9.06 million and diluted earnings per share fell 3% to 15.2 pence from 15.6 pence.
