Atos agreed to acquire its rival Bull for €620 million in cash. InterContinental Hotels rejected a £6 billion from unknown bidder of the U.S. Moss Bros total sales climbed 5.4%. Rockhopper agreed to acquire Mediterranean Oil & Gas for £45 million. Rosneft to acquire 50% stake of Seadrill.

Greencore surged after sales jumped 8% to £620 million but net declined 42%. Marks & Spencer said net climbed 14% to £506 million. Vodafone net surged on 45% stake sale of Verizon Wireless and lowered its operating earnings of 2015. United Internet net jumped 35%.

AstraZeneca tumbled and the company rejected the takeover offer from Pfizer at £55 per share or $117 billion as too low. Deutsche Bank dropped and plans to raise €8 billion in a rights offer. Ryanair net declined to €522.8 million but revenue jumped.
