Isle of Capri Sales Fall; North American Net Loss

10:00AM New York – Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc revenue fell 1.8% revenues fell 1.8%. North American Energy Partners Inc revenue fell 46% and net loss was $142.7 million.

Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc, a casino operator reported fourth quarter revenues fell 1.8% to $287.2 million from $292.6 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter was $14.6 million or 46 cents per diluted share compared to net loss of $51.3 million or $1.66 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the fiscal year fell 4.5% to $1.06 billion from $1.11 billion a year ago. Net income in the year was $43.6 million or $1.39 per diluted share compared to net loss of $96.9 million or $3.16 per share a year ago.

Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc (ISLE) in the last one year traded as high as $14.48 in May 2009 and as low as $2.04 in November 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of $12.56 the company has market cap of $399.08 million.

North American Energy Partners Inc, the largest providers of heavy construction, mining, piling and pipeline services reported fourth quarter revenues fell 46% to $801.6 million from $661.4 million a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $142.7 million or $3.96 per diluted share compared to net income of $20.5 million or 56 cents per share a year ago.

Revenues for the fiscal year fell 1.7% to $972.5 million from $989.7 million a year ago. Net loss in the year was $139.5 million or $3.87 per diluted share compared to net income of $39.8 million or $1.08 per share a year ago.

North American Energy Partners Inc (NOA) in the last one year traded as high as $24.50 in June 2008 and as low as $1.52 in March 2009. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of $7.85 the company has market cap of $282.90 million.

Volt Information Sciences, Inc, a provider of staffing services, and telecommunications and information solutions reported second quarter revenues fell 26% to $447.1 million from $605.1 million a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $8.7 million or 42 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $3.4 million or 15 cents per share a year ago.
