AeroVironment, Inc, a maker of unmanned aircraft systems said first quarter revenues rose 9% to $53.6 million from $49.2 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter rose 25% to $4.8 million or 22 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $3.8 million or 18 cents per share, a year ago.
