Duckwall-ALCO Rise; Rachspace Falls

11:00AM New York - Comarco, Inc revenue rose 72% and net loss was $1.6 million. Duckwall-ALCO Stores, Inc revenue rose 8.9% and net income rose 21%. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc revenue fell 9.5% and net loss was $1.9 million.

Comarco, Inc, a designer and manufacturer of external mobile power adapters said second quarter revenues rose 72% to $7.6 million from $2.1 million a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was $1.6 million or 23 cents per diluted share compared to net loss of $2.2 million or 30 cents per share, a year ago.

Comarco, Inc (CMRO) in the last one year traded as high as $6.30 in September 2007 and as low as $2.25 in August 2008. Based on the yesterday’s closing price the company has a market cap of $19.12 million.

Duckwall-ALCO Stores, Inc, a regional retailer said second quarter revenues rose 8.9% to $129.6 million from $119.01 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter rose 21% to $3.3 million or 85 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $2.6 million or 68 cents per share, a year ago.

Comparable same-store sales decreased 2.1%.

Comparable same-store sales rose 13%.

Majesco Entertainment Company, a provider of video games for the mass market said third quarter revenues rose 44% to $14.5 million from $10.0 million a year ago. Net income in the quarter was $0.5 million or 2 cents per diluted share compared to net loss of $1.5 million or 6 cents per share, a year ago.

Net income in the quarter fell 63% to $397,561 or 10 cents per diluted share compared to net income of $1,155,288 or 28 cents per share, a year ago.
